Getting to Amsterdam/Netherlands
There are many ways you can fly to Amsterdam - click here to see a number of airlines that fly to Amsterdam
Or you could come by train  - click here for timetables...

Arriving by Air
The easiest way into Centraal Amsterdam is by train from the airport.

When you collect your baggage you go out through into the general arrivals area and follow the signs for the train, which is within the same complex.

You will see ticket machines (which accept visa cards, with pin numbers) and option to view in English.

You will want to purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal.

Single, Second class, Standard, Same day, 1 ticket.

Near the ticket machines there should be a board showing what time the next train will leave for Amsterdam Centraal, and from what platform.

If you have a mobile you could ring us at the centre on 0031 207852135 before leaving the airport and we will come down to the Amsterdam Centraal and meet you either on the platform, or at a cafe in the Station called Julia's and walk with you to the centre.

If you want to view the train times from Amsterdam airport (Schipol) to Amsterdam Central you can see them via this website

Arriving by train
If you let us know before you arrive we will come down to the Amsterdam Centraal and meet you either on the platform, or at a cafe in the Station called Julia's and walk with you to the centre.

You could also either walk or take a tram to the centre:
Walking: when you come out of the train station, the main road directly in front of you is Prins Hendrikkade.  Turn right along Prins Hendrikkade, and continue to walk until you reach the first canal.  This is the Singel.  Cross the road and then walk down Singel until you reach 214.  It is about a 10 minute walk from the station in total.

Tram: you can either catch the 17, 13, 1, 2 or 5 trams and get off after two stops at the DAM.  When you get off continue walking on the road you are on, in the direction that the tram was heading until you get to the next street - Raadhuisstraat.  Turn right at the corner, and contine about 100 metres until you cross a bridge over the first canal.  Directly after this turn right onto Singel, and 214 is a few buildings down the street from there.
By Car
Parking is expensive in Amsterdam, and it is suggested if you are looking at driving that you contact us in advance and we can provide directions to where cheaper parking is possible utilising the free ferry.  Directions can be found using google maps and typing in your start direction and destination Singel.

All else failing you will have our phone number and also the address of the centre is Singel 214/2, 1016 AB, Amsterdam.
