Where is Bernie?

Bernie is now touring Europe with the All truth, All Love Awakening as You tour. After leaving the heat and sands of Egypt and a week of acclimatisation, talks and retreats at SHE Amsterdam, he finds himself in the sub-zero realms of Scandinavia, enjoying snow, frozen lakes and the warm hearts of the people.  In Copenhagen the teaching drew the interest of a Danish TV company who have filmed a satsang and are planning to interview Bernie later in the year. His tour continues in wintery style to Stockholm 8th February; Bristol, UK 15th February; Cologne 18th February; Munich for two days then Barcelona from 24-27th and then in Bristol on 1st and 2nd March.

What's New ~ SHE Centre New Zealand

When Bernie left for Egypt the core group at SHE Centre in Governors Bay were left with a vision and a clear patch of land with a half-built herb spiral. The vision to create a dynamically different herb and water garden; the reality, living transformation in the stretch to bring our brightest creativity to life amidst the ongoing calling to hold She Chocolaterie, children on school holidays, the BPF office, The Form- Reality Practice, Ohinetahi Retreat, dogs, cats and chickens! The creation of this garden is so much more than that as we somehow make space to play together amidst piles of tiles, shells, stones, cement, dogs, kids and the on-looking customers from She. It's happening! And this week Bernie has called us to get it finished to a place where customers can wander in to part of it.... The transformation that is called up through such an alive engagement of life together is held beautifully by the commitment to fully be here, through listening to the satsangs from Bernie's tour and our daily heart-sharing meetings. It is an amazing and challenging stretch to be unlimited in our creation; the dance that ensues is demanding yet thrilling as it tenderises all those inner hard places. Much like the garden, with its dynamic interaction of mosaics, concrete, plants and water and its constantly evolving creation; we are both breaking up and being renewed in the same moment.

What's New ~ SHE Centre Amsterdam

It’s hard to believe that one month of 2010 is behind us now, however so much has unfolded in one month that it shows that 2010 is already a year of transformation and also the call to actively get involved and participate in not only one’s own development but commit to a collective unfolding. Together with the New Zealand office, the last month has seen the forming of a plan to actively encourage conscious participation of everyone; and over the coming months we will be not only running events from the Centre but visiting all the countries that Bernie travels to talk with anyone interested in supporting a growing community of people committed to evolving consciousness; with The Form – Reality Practice being the tool to help deepen this.

Over the last week Bernie has been at the Centre with growing numbers coming every evening, culminating in an amazing day retreat, which outlined succinctly and beautifully the dance of the masculine and feminine appearing as Man and Woman’s journey together on the earth. Both inspiring and thrilling to not only be a part of such a day, but to know deeply that that is what is actually happening at this time.

Bernie will be with us again the first week of March for a series of 5 meetings during the week, with a weekend retreat to finish this winter European tour. Before then we are running a number of weekends teaching Parts 1 and 2 of The Form, holding teacher training and then a Form intensive; whilst at the same time one of us supporting Bernie on this European tour. So February is going to be a very full month! March is also scheduled to be a very full month, as after Bernie is at the Centre more courses are scheduled to be held, with one key event for this month being the The Form – Part 1 to 3 retreat being held at the Centre from the 26th to 29th March. This will be the first in the Northern Hemisphere and we already have a number of bookings. Book now and join us in the discovery and deepening into The Form. Some accommodation for this course is still available for those wishing to come from outside of Amsterdam.

Reflections From The Recent Egypt Retreat

As we pulled around the corner on our journey from Cairo Airport to the hotel, the mighty Pyramids stood majestically before us, overshadowing the telegraph poles and the trucks thundering past on the road nearby, and the noise of the engines of countless Egyptians going to work. The next day we got up bright and early to the sound of the Calling to Prayer bellowing out from countless mosques in the vicinity and made our way to the Pyramids via what can only be described as an exhilarating camel ride through the desert. It’s quite an unusual feeling to make the journey that thousands of travelers must have done over the centuries.

I likened the journey entering into the pyramid as that small empty space one has to enter within themselves. A mind doesn't want to go there but the heart knows there is more in that tiny space than we can know through the mind. The group travelled up the tiny shaft that led up to the innermost chamber. Not everyone was able to make it as fear and doubt overcame them. Those that did had different experiences but most spoke of the need to not listen to the fears of the mind as they climbed up deeper and deeper into the heart of the pyramid. This is a metaphor that must be lived in the heart of oneself - climbing into the innermost chamber where the you you believed in does not exist but empty space of the ground of one’s own being. Many left sight of the Great Pyramid changed in some way and more prepared to continue with the next part of the journey.

Reflections on the Egypt Nile Cruise
On the top deck of our boat the Hamees, the gentle breeze on your face as the boat slipped down the Nile; the sun shining, warming the morning; the farmer on the lush green bank of the Nile tending to his donkeys; the waiters in their black and white uniforms serving coffee; the groups of people on the sundeck catching the rays and gazing out at the craggy sandy hills and mountain tops in the distance – and our group, over 25 of us, deeply immersed in sharing The Form, catching the curiosity of the other travelers on the boat and all the boats passing by. This was our first morning sailing, making our way down to Aswan from Luxor.
We had already been to The Valley of The Kings where the incredible construction and the beautiful art and colours in the tombs we saw were mirroring frequencies inside of our own knowingness, depictions on one of the tombs where a couple of movements of The Form were symbolised and the timeless reality of the Self revealed inside our own hearts.

The journey down the Nile reflected the journey every soul takes into the world, through the gathering of experience. We were constantly on the move, either up at 3.00am to travel three hours across the desert or up at 6.00am most mornings, temples, boats, coaches, bazaars, breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea time, constant activity – and the potential to lose yourself in the sights, sounds and array of Egyptian tourist trail distraction. The throng of sellers, peddling their wares of shawls, scarves and jewelry, all vibeing for your attention and for the game of bartering. Every stop off the boat along the Nile had the same wares, the same eager sellers, some so eager they actually came out on small rowing boats to where the boats were waiting to go through the Nile lock. They didn’t take no for an answer as they stuffed a shawl into a plastic bag, threw it up over 5 or 6 decks to the top deck and started bargaining.

The journey back up the Nile, the incredible temples we visited, one that reflected the masculine principal, another the feminine principal…Their tangible frequencies of being and the taste of reality behind their image and structure, just opened up places in the individuals in deep recognition of their own very nature and the play of masculine and feminine attraction in their own lives.

This tour was like no other held by Bernie and the turning point came when the boat turned round to make its way back up the Nile to Luxor. At this point a move away from the many distractions experienced on the way down came in. It was clearly seen and began to unveil a new reality as we ventured back from whence we came. A beautiful reflection and mirror for all. The step up for this woman was clear and that was – I am the creative power of the universe; I am an autonomous co-creative being – or I am choosing to be plain mediocre. Finding the edge inside and seeing that the manifestation of the knowingness inside is asking for full participation, beyond the known of my seeming ability or even possibility. I am directing and creating this life, what is experienced and how it is experienced, what do I choose?
