Todd's Profile What drew you to this teaching?I met Bernie 14 years ago, shortly after arriving in the UK after a period in Nepal and Tibet. Previous to that I had been working as a Management consultant for Deloitte Touche in Christchurch, New Zealand having trained as a Chartered Accountant. Life ultimately bought me to London. I had no idea what a Master was and it was only a “no choice” set of circumstances that arranged my first meeting with Bernie. This was to be my first experience of The Form – Reality Practice (then called Cosmic Healing) Since that time much has unfolded and life has been redefined many times, until now it is a constant moment to moment redefining. It has been one of marriage, birth, divorce, career, service, death and many other things; that constantly amazes me at how little I knew and still know about this life. What really inspires you about the teaching now? The practical nature of the teaching over the years has moved from being an understanding into a living of the teaching as I allowed it more into my everyday life. The practice of The Form has provided a tool to begin to explore all areas of relationship and also now as a teacher the ability to share with people something truly profound but leave the knowledge or understanding clearly with the experience. It is an empowering teaching, and as the originator of The Form is still living, it is a teaching that is evolving as we as individuals evolve. What areas do you support/work in as a member of the core group? I am a Teacher of The Form and hold courses and retreats throughout Europe, and am currently involved in designing ongoing courses on Spiritual Human Evolution. I am a member of the finance team as well and involved in many aspects of the overall direction of the Foundation. What does it mean to you to be a member of the core group? Good question. It means to live a life of service and action beyond the limited sense of self. How is this serving your evolution as an individual? It is constantly offering me ways to refine myself not only an individual self, but how I relate to the wider environment. What are you discovering about the evolution of the group as a whole? That it is not an easy thing, to come together even as a committed group with a common objective. It has taken many years of working together to finally see the potential of a totally new way of being and working together, beyond limited sense of self. A lot has been faced by the group over the years, and the evolution of the group is one based on mutual respect, commitment and deep love of truth; demonstrated through action that has now bought us to this place. It is still unfolding and refining finer and finer, however many of the old ways of relating have finally been revealed and a new ground of relating has been discovered, making way for the possibility for possibilities not previously achieved. Heart based actions that will speak louder than words could ever. |
